They consist of three layers:
- Antibacterial outer fabric – enriched with silver ions, waterproof, and easy to clean.
- X-ray protective material – the essential barrier against radiation, available in lead-based (Lead Vinyl) or lead-free (Edge Bilayer) options.
- Inner Lining – lightweight, easy-to-clean material.

Apron material composition
Protective aprons consist of an outer layer made from polyester fabric coated with polyurethane and an inner polyamide fabric, also coated with polyurethane. Apron edges are finished with durable trimming, ensuring the product’s longevity and superior quality.
Lead Vinyl and Edge Bilayer
- Lead Vinyl is a lead-chlorovinyl material (containing 75%-85% metallic lead), commonly used in manufacturing protective aprons. It provides excellent radiation protection for medical applications, including nuclear medicine. It is a lightweight material, combining user comfort with maximum safety.
- Edge Bilayer is a lead-free material combining antimony and bismuth. It is suitable for manufacturing protective aprons used in medical settings, excluding nuclear medicine. It is ultra-lightweight, ensuring both comfort and effective protection.

To select the correct apron size, refer to the two symbols from the table below. The first symbol indicates apron width based on the user’s chest circumference, while the second symbol specifies apron length according to the user’s height.
